Well, as everyone should know, the election finished yesterday, Thursday, and Barack Obama became the president of United States of America. About one year ago, who would have known the history of America will change? Who would have known that the first black president would be elected this year, this election? I bet that nobody would have known. This is really a big news. There were series of battles between John McCain and Barack Obama, also including Sarah Palin. But in the end, who won? Obama defeated John McCain as if it was a piece of cake. Now, the only thing that the Americans are wondering about is what change might Obama really make while being a president.
I think that it was right for Barack Obama to be the president of United States of America. For the people that listened to Obama’s speeches, you could realize that he always promises that he will make big changes in the United States of America. He said that he will change everything in America. Not John McCain, but him. I thought that his argument in this was very formal and very interesting which made me want to know what he might do as a president. Also, I think that it will be really interesting if there would be a new black person in the list of America’s presidents. Anyway, I wish he would change how the economy is going in the United States of America, which includes the incident of costs of oil. What exciting thing might he do in the future?
His speeches were certainly convincing. He used his toungue as a kind of a weapon. He was able to overcome rascism, and become the president of U.S. We should learn to overcome our disadvantages in order to succeed.

I think that McCain wasn’t a companion. Actually, I was really sure that Obama will be president. As Tony said, every speech was like a weapon and McCain could not win.
I hope Obama will change the world and control oil costs.

Like Jennifer, I knew that Obama would be the president of the United States. I was convinced by Obama’s speech. His speech was perfect, and he was also perfect. He momorized all his speech, and had a strong voice. I’m glad that he became the president.

I’m actually very glad that Barack Obama had won the election and became the next president of the U.S. I thought that Obama had the skills perfect for being the president. He had the speech skills as mentioned by others; I thought that he was good at convincing and arguing his point!
I just hope that Barack Obama is THE president to change the whole world into a better place!
